He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Louis Barnes and Thelma Mae Leftwich Barnes; and his niece Kaylie Thompson. He is survived by: his granddaughter Edna; his wife Edna Barnes; his daughter Tiffany (Nick Williams); his adoptive son Brian Mieloch (Wilma); his grandchildren, Bristol, Gavin Williams, Brandt, Cameron and Lauren Mieloch; and his sisters, Sandra Blair (Andy), Patti Williams, Mimi Fields (Ernie) and Nancy Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Stanley J Barnes Memorial Golf Scholarship Fund" at Ozona Bank in Wimberley, TX.
