It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Carroll Jenkins of Wimberley, Texas, born in San Marcos, Texas, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Raymond Jenkins and Della Mae Jenkins; his wife Nancy Evelyn Jenkins; and his brother Cecil Lewis Jenkins. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Laney, Rylie, Chandler and Dylan; his sister Janice Rogers; his sisters-in-law, Minnie Jenkins, Carolyn Haley and Sylvia Everett; and his nieces and nephews, Kathy Murray, Lewis Jenkins, Judy Wilson, Brandi Carney, Brandon Rogers, Jeffery Everett, Melinda Everett, Laurie Haley Herring, Cindy Haley, Debbie Haley, Vanessa Haley Jones, Ben Haley and Daniel Haley.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomason Funeral Home - Wimberley (14700 Ranch Rd 12, Wimberley, TX 78676). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at the Wimberley Cemetery (481 Old Kyle Rd, Wimberley, TX 78676).
