He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Edward and Topsy Mildred Black (Johnson); his brother Larry Black; and his nephews, James Black and Jessie Black.
He is survived by: his wife Becky; his children, Leslie Black Salazar (David) of Kyle and Jason Black (Julia) of Kyle; his brother Scott Black (Linda) of Menard, TX; his siblings-in-law, Robert Moran (Cynthia) of Kerrville, TX, Thomas Moran of Colorado, Daniel Moran (Janet) of Brady, TX, Brenda Black of Hext, TX and Helen Dockal (Tim) of Mason, TX.; and his grandchildren, Sammy, Ryan, Alex, Hannah Salazar, Cody Black, Jazmin Wilson and Charlie Black. He is also survived by nine great-grandsons and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wimberley Community Center (14068 Ranch Rd 12, Wimberley, TX 78676). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
