He was predeceased by: his mother Sidney Martin Butler; and his stepfather Johnnie. He is survived by: his brother Harley Butler (Donna) of Corpus Christi; his wife Janice; his sons, Robert (Reyna) of Austin and Brian (Rosie) of Corpus Christi; his grandchildren, Luca, Chloe, Tristin, Lauryn and Eryn; his siblings-in-law, Sally Browning of Wimberley and Michael Browning of Harlingen; and his close friend Bandit.
