He was predeceased by: his parents, Candelario Ortiz Almanza and Maria Cruz Barragan; his wife Maria Rosario Almanza (Rosie); and his brothers, Charlie, Rudy, Roy and Freddie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Ann Almanza and Sandra Fether (Curt); his daughter-in-law Nancy P. Almanza; his grandchildren, Louie Almanza (Ursula), Ronnie Almanza (Ashley), Daniel Almanza, Derick Almanza (Melinda), Alina Almanza (Travis), Darin Almanza, Danica Almanza, Jennifer Fether, Adrian Almanza and Megan Fether; his great grandchildren, Delylah, Dylan, Zethe, Ryan, Evie, Elise and Baby Smith; and his sister Maria Elena Gonzalez. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
