He was predeceased by: his parents, Donny Lee and Donna Lee Bateman; his brother Matthew Bateman; his former wife Mary Etheridge; and his wife Michelle Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Alexis Bateman Rose, Brittany Bateman Rose, Lacey Jones and Jamie Jones; his granddaughter Mariah Rachelle Smith; his sister Melinda Johnson (Dwayne Johnson); his aunts, Darlene Morrison, Kelly Mims and Pat Bateman; and his close friend Jonny Keenan. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
