It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Hood in Wills Point, Texas, who passed away on September 24, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Mitchell and Mamie Elizabeth Smith Hill; her husband Bobbie Joe Hood; her siblings, Mary Leeta McCully and Curtis Ray Hill; her great grandchild Jeremiah David Trosper; her children, Joe Max Hood (Beth) of Terrell and Vicki Lynn Trosper (Ron) of Terrell; her grandchildren, Dionne Moore, Debi Forester (John), Joanna Rodriguez (Daniel), Scott Trosper (Michelle) and Tronda Falck (Chad); her great grandchildren, Tyler Moore, Grace Moore, Ethan Forester, Callen Forester, Bethany Vasquez, Melayna Sepulveda, Jaden Falck and Kellie Freeman; and her great great grandchildren, Zoey Trosper, Tommy Trosper, Little Angel Vasquez, Estella Vasquez, Whiatte Freeman and Sawyer Freeman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials may be made to the Perrin Cemetery Association.
