It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Simeona Lunsford of Wills Point, Texas, born in Edgewood, Texas, who passed away on January 21, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Flores Velasquez, Sr. and Guadalupe Carmelo Velasquez; and her siblings, Margie Evans, Angie Long, Virginia Perez, Lenora Carrizales and Jesus Velasquez, Jr..
She is survived by: her close friend Tamara Faulkner of Wills Point, TX; her children, James Lunsford of Los Angeles, CA, Misty Hare (Joey) of Fruitvale, TX and Consuelo Moore (Charles) of Royse City, TX; and her siblings, Daniel Velasquez (Donna) of Alabama and JoAnn Brown of Nacogdoches, TX. She is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
