He is survived by: his parents, Alberto Hernandez and Magdalena Merino Hernandez; his wife Diane Forlidas Hernandez; his children, Matthew Hernandez (Alan) and Brazos Kight; his stepchildren, Zack Willmore (Carrie), Tiffany Willmore (Chris Webster), Aubrey Jones (Amanda), Randall Jones and Nesby Bostick; his siblings, Juan Hernandez (Ruth), Trini Hernandez (Theresa), Caro Hernandez Zavala (Luis), Elia Ramirez (Augustine), Norma Luna (Ranulfo), Veronica Monroy (Octavio), Gilbert Hernandez (Valentina) and Leni Vazquez (Luis); and his brothers-in-law, Nick Forlidas (Jade) and Charles Forlidas (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made in his memory to St. Luke's Catholic Church located in Wills Point, Texas.
