He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shackelford and Gaynell Shackelford. He is survived by: his wife Judy Kanady Shackelford; and his children, Phillip Shackelford Jr. (Nicole), Jolly Shackelford (Stephanie), Jerry Shackelford (Tracey), Dedra Twiner (Darren), Will James, Sunny James (Angel) and Deborah Martin (David). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
