He was predeceased by: his wife Ailene Hinson; his parents, William Oscar Hinson and Exir Vera McCain Hinson; and his siblings, Odis Hinson, Bill Hinson, Charles Hinson, Claude Hinson, Helen Dunlap, Joyce Roach and Vera Freeman.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna Townsend (Keith); his grandchildren, Megan Segroves, Michael, Alanna Chavez, Chris, Victoria Selzer and Mauricio Robles; his great grandchildren, Kade Segroves, Monica Chavez, Anthony Chavez, Nomie Segroves, Ian Bruton and Karson Bell; his son-in-law Robert Selzer; his close friend Lily; and his friend Traci.
