It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jalen Wesley Lane of Wills Point, Texas, who passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 28, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Jalen departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jalen. Though Jalen may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He is survived by: his parents, Robert Joel Lane Jr. and Brandie Lane Flanagan; his sister Lexi Flanagan of Wills Point; his great-great-grandparent Imma Jean Flanagan of Terrell; his grandparents, Linda Jones of Wills Point, Joey and Beverly Lane of Wills Point; his uncle Rusty; and his aunt Kimberly Lane (Macy Penix) of Wills Point. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hiett's LyBrand Chapel (1701 Goodnight Blvd, Wills Point, TX 75169). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Scottish Rite Hospital, a cause close to Jalen's heart.
