He was predeceased by: his son James; his parents, James Bryant and Lillie Ella Russell (James); and his siblings, Arta Xerxes, Silous Simon, James Bryant Russell Jr. and Dorothy Louise Price (Russell).
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Sue Pettigrew; and his children, Mary Mosby (Russell) of Centerville, TX and David Russell. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and other beloved friends and relatives.
