She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Barnes, Sr.; her children, Velma LaJoy Smith and Clifford Sean Barnes; her grandson Aaron Bailey; and her siblings, Ongie Bolton, Evia Thompson Mooney, Fannie Williams, Edward Ross Thompson, Billie Joe Thompson and Jimmy Glen Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Thelma Bey (Robert), Warjeania Madden (Emmett) and Brenda Smith (Herschel); her son-in-law Leonard Wayne Smith; and her siblings, Clarence Thompson (Annette) of Rowlett, TX, Kenneth Thompson (Linda) of Rowlett, TX, Renaldo Thompson (JoAnn) and Sandra Greer of Houston, TX. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great0great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives.
