He was predeceased by: his parents, Irma Adele Wynne and Benjamin Prater Monning, Jr.; and his brother Buck Wynne Monning. He is survived by: his wife Nancy White Monning; his children, Shelby Monning Patterson (Nick Patterson), Alice Kathryn Patterson, Benjamin Prater Monning IV and Arthur Christopher Monning; and his brother Wright Bruce Monning. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
