He was predeceased by : his father Kenneth O. Fleeger, Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Tami N. Fleeger of Aledo, Texas; his children, Andrew J. Fleeger (Julie), Ashley M. Villafana (Christian), Anthony Barocio (Alyssa) and Haylee Barocio; his grandsons, Bradley Kevin Villafana, Alden and Jace Fleeger; his mother Virginia A. Bartholomew; his siblings, Deborah L. Welch (Mitchell) and Kenneth O. Fleeger II; and his nieces and nephews, Jordan Elan, Kenny III, Kayli and Kingston Fleeger.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project.
