He is survived by: his mother Clara Hermanson of Kentucky; his daughter Lori Mares; his son-in-law Dale Mares; his grandchildren, Jake Mares and Ashton Mares; and his sisters, Peggy Davenport of North Carolina, Jenny Boldt of Nebraska, Randy Boldt, Patti McCord of Kentucky and Mike McCord.
