He is survived by: his siblings, Leon Jett of Ladson, Brenda Patterson of Dalton, Georgia and Nelda Jett of Lubbock, Texas; his wife Eleanor Beach Jett of Willow Park, Texas; his children, Diana Whitesell (Todd) of Burnet, Texas, Charles Edward Jett II (Sonya) of Georgetown, Texas and Gene Jett (Tina) of Weatherford, Texas; his grandchildren, Drew Whitesell (Kelsey Gobin Whitesell) of Tioga, Ryan Whitesell of Bryan, Jennifer Jett of Washington, DC, Charles Edward Jett III (Trey) of Florence, Lauren Jett, Kristen Jett and Justin Jett of Weatherford, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Emerson Whitesell, Charli and Hallie Whitesell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Air Force Enlisted Village (https://give.afev.us), a retirement community in Okaloosa County, Florida, founded to provide a safe, secure home for surviving spouses of retired enlisted U.S. Airmen.
