She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Doss and Iva Doss; and her husband Herbert Burris (Pop). She is survived by: her children, Linda Dixon, Mike Burris (Rhuenell), Phillip (Rebel), Rick Burris and Todd Burris; and her grandchildren, Karey Wilson, Shane Donaldson, Mandy Jenkins (Chris), Tiffany Burris, Lindsey Walker (Chris) and Josh Burris (Christina).

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the American Heart Association or Community Hospice of Texas in Ray's memory.
