He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Taylor Scott and Myrtle Mae Goldsmith Scott; his wife Charlotte Estelle Scott; his son Doyle Lynn Scott; and his siblings, Bobby Joe Scott, Betty Ann Harris and Peggy Alyne.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Scott (Robbie), Kelly Bach (David) and Samuel Scott (Sabrina); his sister Dorothy Scott; and his close friend Laura Mittelstedt. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
