She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Harrod and Rena Crisp Harrod; her husband Johnny Eugene Smith; and her brother Cecil Harrod. She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Keith (Alice Carstens Smith), Monte Dwayne (Jeri Pursiful), Clay Lynn (Melody Hawkins Smith), Delvin Scott (Debbie Butler Smith) and Michael Eugene (Janet McNeal Smith); her brother Haven Harrod; and her sister-in-law Myra Harrod. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, 24 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and numerous beloved friends and family relatives.
