He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Wayne Owen Sr. and Adele Marie Evans; his former wife Mary L. Owen; his sons, Christopher and Steven Head; his sisters, Phyllis Hopson and Cynthia Owen; his granddaughter Jaculynn Head; and his grandson-in-law Robert "Bubba" Siarski.
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Andrew Head (Dawn Jardine) of Willis and Jack B. Head III of Willis; his grandchildren, Cayla Fiorella (Peter) of Pinehurst, Ami Siarski of Huffman, Ashlee Gonzalez-Rios (Ody) of Magnolia, Jonathan Head (Taylor) of Magnolia, Austin Head (Samantha) of Huntsville, Avery Head (David) of Magnolia, Casey Medcalf (Zackery) of Anderson, Robert Head of Manteo, Victoria Martian of Montgomery, Tyler Jardine of Willis, Owen Head of Manteo, Samuel Head of Manteo and Madeline Head of Manteo; his brothers, James (Debra Owen) and Daniel (Jenna Owen); and his daughters-in-law, Monica Cook of Plantersville, Jodie Head of Magnolia and Kimberly Head of Manteo. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
