Nancy Ahern wrote a sympathy message

“Linda was a wonderful friend during our four years in South Africa, opening up her home and preparing her famous Chicken Divan for eight or twenty-eight, often at a minute’s notice. She was a marvel. I look fondly at the photos of those golden days In Johannesburg and the shared safaris in the African bush. Nancy Ahern”
