He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Steede; his child Dusty Alan Steede; and his parents, JP Steede and Cleo Katy Steede. He is survived by: his son James P Steede III (Rhonda C. Steede); his grandchildren, Dustie Jo Klein (Keith Klein), Justin Steede, Tarah Steede Kasha, Ryan Steede (Leanna Steede) and Evan Steede (Abigail); his great grandchildren, Steven Kasha, Paige Kasha, Dawson Asher, Kegaen Steede and Mackenzie Steede; his sister Jean Stark; and his close friend Gloria Meinke.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home - Willis (10129 FM 1097, Willis, TX 77318). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Bethel Cemetery (14895 Bethel Rd, Montgomery, TX 77356).
