He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Collins Sr. (Bonnie) and Glenda Collins Smith; his stepchildren, Coy Nix, Tressa Richard and Doug Nix; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Casey, Rebecca, Earl, Jackie, Alyson, Jessica, Hollie, Kylie, Westly, Ryan, Lindsay, Angel, Katie, Mackenzie, Noah and Mason.
Viewing was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home - Willis (10129 FM 1097, Willis, TX 77318). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Willis Cemetery Cemetery (10129 FM 77318).
