She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas George Nettles and Esther Rymer Bell Nettles; her husband Franklin Dee Stallings; her daughters, Elizabeth Diane Stallings Harvey and Gay Lanell Stallings Humphries; and her siblings, Warren Thomas Nettles, Albert Elmo Nettles, George David Nettles, Ewell Gene Nettles and Carol Jean Nettles Temple.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Kay Collins (Kenneth), Glenda Fay Hunt and Kenneth Edward Stallings (Janice). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as more friends.
