Doug Popp Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doug Popp of Willis, Texas, born in El Campo, Texas, who passed away on January 4, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Popp and Ruby Mae Popp (Groppe); and his brother Doyle Popp. He is survived by: his children, Douglas Adam Popp (Robin) of Watertown, SD, Jennifer Gordon (Larry) of Houston and Katherine Nowak (Kevin) of Houston; his grandchildren, Dakota Turrentine (Shelby), Mihka Ponce (Joseph), Garrett Popp, Jolly Nowak, Catcher Nowak and Poppy Mae Nowak; and his great grandchild Tobias Turrentine. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Closner Cemetery Association.
