He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kauffman Kauffman and Flora Kauffman; his brother Billy Kauffman; his son Jerry Kauffman; his wife Anita Kauffman; his sister Carol Gerald (Robb Gerald); his daughters, Becky Kauffman, Daphne Kelly (Tim Kelly) and Kathi Kauffman; his stepson Mikal Fry (Julie Fry); and his close friend Mata. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
