She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Lawson and Sunday Lawson; her son Ruben Esquibel Jr.; and her grandson Michael Ruben Esquibel Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Anthony "Tony" Garcia; and her children, Marie Pollard (David Pollard), Michael Esquibel, David Esquibel (Kristina Esquibel), Tracy Hernandez and Elizabeth Garcia. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
