She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Whitaker and Dorothy Whitaker (Williams); and her brother Gary Whitaker. She is survived by: her husband Greg; her children, Kennedy Dorman, Rylan Dorman, Brandi Dorman and Lindsey Myers (Cody); her sister Kay Maxwell (Donnie); her grandchildren, Brandon, Gabi, Gavin, Addison, Coye and Kyler; and her great grandchildren, Jayden and Olivia Howard. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bowie Senior Citizen's Center in memory of Sherry Dorman.
