With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rita Turner in Wichita Falls, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Green Moran and Willie Lois Moran (Redwine); her husband Silas Turner; and her sister Dorothy Nichols. She is survived by: her sons, Gary Manuel (Kay) of Memphis, TX, William Reece of Wichita Falls, TX and Randal Manuel (Sharon) of Newark, TX; her grandchildren, Randal "RJ" Manuel II of Rhome, TX and Kynzie Manuel of Newark, TX; her siblings, Gerald Moran of Carey, TX, Vernon Moran (Dolores) of East Texas and Virginia Etheridge (Tom) of Childress, TX; her great grandchild Randal "Tripp" Manuel III of Rhome, TX.; and her stepgrandchildren, Cody Boyd, Stormy Toomer, Joshua Talley, Matthew Talley and Hartley.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Joe E Jones Memorial Chapel.
