He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie McQuiston and Louis McQuiston; and his brother Gradon McQuiston. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Ester Donley; his daughters, Ramona Jones (Matthew) and Susan Buckley (John); his grandchildren, Jennifer Wilson Fischer, Jason Wilson, Meredith Buckley West and Ainslee Buckley; his great grandchildren, Allison, Jake Fischer, Nate, Eli, Avery, Cole Wilson, Calvin and Owen West; and his brothers, Fred McQuiston (Carole) of Mandeville and Eric Van McQuiston (Judy) of Orange Park, Florida..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Owens & Brumley Funeral Home (1317 9th St, Wichita Falls, TX 76301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of First Christian Church (3701 Taft Blvd, Wichita Falls, TX 76308). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Crestview Memorial Park (1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76302).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Hospice of Wichita Falls, Wichita Falls Area Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, First Christian Church of Wichita Falls, or any local charity of own choosing.
