It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ortiz Wright of Wichita Falls, Texas, who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Mary Ortiz may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Santoz Ramoz and Sara Ramoz; and her siblings, Rosalinda, Elizabeth, Roque, Arthur (Debbie) and Junior Santoz.
She is survived by: her husband William; and her daughters, Roselbia Cortez and Sandra Steine. She is also survived by four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Owens and Brumley Funeral Home (1317 9th St, Wichita Falls, TX 76301). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Mexican Baptist Church (601 Farris St, Wichita Falls, TX 76301). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Crestview Memorial Park (1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76302).
