With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leroy W. Padilla of Wichita Falls, Texas, who passed away on February 19, 2025 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie M. Padilla and Erminia Padilla (Salazar); and his daughter Evangeline Marie Padilla. He is survived by: his wife Socorro Padilla; his daughters, Sonya Soto and Rebecca Diaz; his siblings, Frances Serna (Thomas), Michelle Padilla, Willie S. Padilla and Steve Padilla (Karen); and his grandchildren, Kirk Staresinic (Jeanine), Erin Sanchez (Sergio), Vanessa Trejo (Luis), Steven Soto (Danielle), Cynthia Barrera, Jorge Vargas, Sonya Esparza, Anthony Vargas, Michael Vargas, Evangeline Esparza and Emma Reyes. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Owens & Brumley Funeral Home (1317 9th St, Wichita Falls, TX 76301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (421 Marconi St, Wichita Falls, TX 76301).
