He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Nanez and Sylvia Nanez; and his wife Dena. He is survived by: his cousin Grampa; his children, Annette Nanez Ezzell (Bennie) of Wichita Falls, Lori Sjostrand (Rob) of Albuquerque, NM, Misty Hardesty (Simon) of Sneads Ferry, NC, Natalie Utter (Ryan) of Jacksonville, FL and Rick Nanez (Renee) of Frederic, WI.; his close friend Shelia Thornton; and his sisters, Mary Jo Villegas, Pat Nanez and Lillie Lambert. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
