He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe D. Hernandez and Venita Hernandez (Bennie); his sister Frances "Frankie" Lopez; his son Tony Hernandez; and his great grandchild Aliyah Janelle Grantham.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mercy Amador Rita (Tony), Yzaguirre (Leonard), Lupe Rodriguez and Juanita "Cuddie" Sapata The; the mother of his children Anita Hernandez; and his children, Joel Ray Hernandez and Angie Biggers (Joey). He is also survived by 7 grandkids, 19 great grandkids.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Temple of Praise (1914 Buchanan St, Wichita Falls, TX 76309).
