He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Lou Reid Gordon and Grady Columbus Gordon; and his brothers, Grady, Robert, Larry, Ralph and Donnie.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Gordon; his daughters, Dr. Lori Gordon (Rick Hoffman) and Leann Elder (Doug Elder); his granddaughters, Lauren Martin (Jared Martin) and Abby Wright; and his stepdaughters, LaDonna Cole and Dana Givens (Lloyd Givens).
A memorial service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Christian Church (3701 Taft Blvd, Wichita Falls, TX 76308).
As an avid blood donor, he was presented with the Ten Gallon Certificate several years ago and kept donating as long as health allowed.
