He was predeceased by: his father Luis Roberto Contreras; and his brother Gilbert Rafael Contreras. He is survived by: his mother Socorro Navarro Contreras; his wife Brandy Contreras; his children, Kycelynn and Vanson; and his siblings, Luis Contreras (Irene), Olga Saldarriaga (Ricardo), Ana Franco, Elizabeth Emery (Chris), Connie Hamilton (Kelvin), Rosa Wilson, Angie Wiley (Chad), Jorge Contreras and Maribeth. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
