He is survived by: his wife Jane Hall Benson; his daughters, Dawn Ross (Joe) and Tina Nichols (Nick); his adoptive daughter Francine Gutierrez (Willie); his siblings, Dean Benson (Marilyn) and Donna Henle (Don); and his grandchildren, Joe Ross Jr. (Sara), Bonnie Wreay (Tyler), Leah Duty (Jonathan), Katherine Ramos (Roger), Nick Nichols (Michelle), Tammy Nichols, Tina Nichols (Don) and Mia Gutierrez. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
