Though Fred may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his sister Helen Bobbye Parkhurst; and his parents, Robert Henderson McPhail and Imogene Burns McPhail. He is survived by: his wife Mary Carolyn McPhail; his daughter LeAnn McPhail Wray; his son-in-law Wilson; and his grandsons, Thomas Sullivan Wray and Jonathan Michael Wray. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Owens and Brumley Funeral Home (1317 9th St, Wichita Falls, TX 76301). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Crestview Memorial Park (1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76302).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope International, Dallas, Texas, a non-profit international adoption and humanitarian aid agency, through which Fred's daughter LeAnn and her husband Bill adopted their son, Thomas from Russia in 2003.
