He was predeceased by: his father Ruben Arthur "Rube"; his wife Joan Maxine Langley; his mother Mozelle McGill (Noel); his siblings, James Frank "Jim" McGill (Helen), Agnus McGill Nunn (Gordon) and Nancy Jane McGill (Max McGill); and his grandson DJ Hickerson.
He is survived by: his children, Debra (Terry Hodnefield), Donna (Stephen Dilks), Diana McGill of Temple, TX, Donnie (Darcy McGill), Deena (Trip Grant) and Danna (Joe Thompson); his brother Larry McGill (Gail); his sisters-in-law, Mailey Ann Langley of Wadley, AL, Gaynan Craven of Wadley, AL and Kaye Cooper (Mitchell) of Wadley, AL; his grandchildren, Stephanie (Brian Davis), Stephen Lynn (Tiffany Dilks), Shane (Christann Dilks), Dannie (Britten McGill), Jody (Chuck Cooley), Dillon McGill, Danielle (Austin Ford) and Quay Grant; his great grandchildren, Easton, Ruston, Roxton, Huntley, Ella, Everett, Jessi, Toby, James, William, Zelma and Callen; and his pet Luke. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
