With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Don Michael Gilmore of Wichita Falls, Texas, born in Henrietta, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 9, 2024 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Gilmore and Dorothy Gilmore (Walker) of Henrietta, TX.; his wife Cheryl Gilmore (McCown); and his sister-in-law Rita McCown (Kenneth Vance) of Wichita Falls, TX.. He is survived by: his sister Sharon Kay Gilmore of Wichita Falls, TX.; his siblings-in-law, Larry McCown of Wichita Falls, TX. and Pam Vance of Iowa Park, TX.; his sister Marcia; his brother-in-law Keith Barton of Katy, TX.; his nieces and nephews, Mark Gilmore (Sharon) of Prosper, TX, Jody Gilmore (Hilda) of Prosper and Scott Gilmore (Julie) of Wichita Falls, TX.; and his grandchildren, Brittney Starns (Cheyenne) of Ada, OK., Zackry Gilmore of Prosper, TX, Jake Gilmore of Prosper, TX., Nathan Long (Holly) of Houston, TX., Steven Long (Tess) of Houston, TX. and Lauren Ron (Luis) of Houston, TX.. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
