With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Kines of Wichita Falls, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on March 25, 2025 at the age of 61, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his father Homer Dwight Kines; his wife Sharon Kines; his grandparents, Arthur Sr., Lizzie Anderson, Clifton Kines and Mary Maurice Lott; his daughter MeShong Kines; and his siblings, Debra Winston (James), Penny Davis (Corkey) and John-Anthony Kines.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Frances Kines (Anderson); his children, DarShang Kines of Wichita, Kansas and Shayla Kines of Vernon, Texas; his grandchildren, Lamiekiean Kelley (Thomas), Alfred Dever and Charles Williams; and his cousin Cassie Kines of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Owens and Brumley Funeral Home (1317 9th St, Wichita Falls, TX 76301).
