He is survived by: his wife Jane Ann Southard (Tech University) of Texas; his son Michael Southard (Krystal Southard); his grandchildren, Aubrey Southard, Sarah Southard, Sean Southard, Kyndell Jennings and Jorden Jennings; his son Mark Southard (Janelle Southard); his grandsons, Grayson Southard and Gavin Southard; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Smith, Krystyna Smith, Russell Smith and Dyesa Smith. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was a faithful supporter of the Rotary Foundation being a multiple Paul Harris Fellow.
