It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Lea Houchins of Wichita Falls, Texas, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, L. D. Houchins and Doris Houchins; and her sisters, Donna Wetmore and Pamela Ward. She is survived by: her children, David Barger (Mara), Scotty Barger (Vickie) and Lisa Keep (Lee); her grandchildren, Shane Barger (Katelyn), Chelsea Capes (Jimmy), Shalea Klein (Tyler), Ryleigh Antilla (Joshua), Ryan Barger and Jacee Barger; her great grandchildren, Brayson, Brinlee, Stellar, Brixlee, Jada, Hadley, Dessie, Malikaii, Kyler and Lilly; her sisters, Linda Maness (Jerry), JoAnn Harlan (Marty), Gayle Houchins, Joyce Lambert (Barry) and Shannon Barwise (Willem); and her friend Toni Harrison.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Owens and Brumley Funeral Home (1317 9th St, Wichita Falls, TX 76301). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
