He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlotte Mackey, and John Mackey, Sr.. He is survived by: his pets, Oliver, Annie, Baxter, Ella and Otis; his wife Shelly; his children, Becky Bradford, Gail Lancaster, Sara Peterson (Christopher), Susan Flaharity (Kenny), Christina Stanley and Michael Johnston (Alyssa); his grandchildren, Troy (Michaela), Dylan, Hunter (Brendon), Landen, Jaden, Nyla, Abby, Jack and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Silas, Wesley and Owen; his brother John; and his sister-in-law Nancy Mackey of Salado. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
