With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodney Lynn Smith of Whitney, Texas, born in Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on June 5, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rayford Smith and Katherine Williams. He is survived by: his former wife Sue Smith; his children, Carol Eubank (Lon), Scarlette Baker and Ryan Smith; his daughter-in-law Laura Smith; his grandchildren, Addison Scott (Sam), Ashlon Ezelle (Chris), Grant Eubank (Jasmine), Allie Baker, Cade Baker, Rylan Smith and Ryder Smith; his great grandchildren, Nora Kay Scott, Rose Evelynn Ezelle and John Whitfield Scott; and his sister Diane Blythe.
