He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Nevers and Theresa Nevers; and his sisters, Marssala and Kitty. He is survived by: his wife Janice Marie Springer-Nevers; his daughters, Tracy McHaney, Sheila Farish and Lori Primm; and his grandchildren, Preston Primm of Brooke Knapp, A. J, Andrew McHaney, Brandy De La Garza, Courtney Crook and Logan Patrick.
