She was predeceased by: her sister Carol Summers. She is survived by: her sons, Philip Weltz Jr. (Theresa) of Houston and Stewart Weltz (Tena Weltz) of San Antonio; and her grandchildren, Zachary Weltz, Matthew Weltz, Patricia Weltz and Tyler Weltz.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Prairie Valley Baptist Church.
