He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hodie Marion Birdwell and Alma Mae Birdwell (Whittington); his wife Sarah Birdwell; his daughters, Deborah Lodrigue of China Spring, Lisa Whitsell of Carrollton and D'Ann Legg (Dane) of Belton; his brother Tom Birdwell (Judy) of Kingsland; his grandchildren, Holly, Heidi, Ashley, Chandler, Ty, Hunter, Brock and Aspen; his great grandchild Averv; and his close friend Eddie Shelton. He was also cherished by Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many friends.
